午後休みにして帰ってきたら

わずかな金額でも、期待していなかったものが来るとうれしいですね。

さて、先週逮捕されたどこかの獣医師の件、
今朝のテレビ朝日「スーパーモーニング」でやってましたね。

実は、彼のことを何箇所かに問い合わせしたことがあります。

私が書いた質問メールはこれ

A Japanese veterinarian, Dr. Hidenobu Toriyoshi, manages his own hospital
in Tokyo, and he has been brought the lawsuits by his customers because of
swindles and medical malpractice. He has a website to advertise his hospital,
especially in skill of practice by introducing many photographs taken at Cornell,
UCDavis, San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park.

As he stated, he finished his Ph.D. course at the Medical School in
the University of Tokyo, and I could find the title of his Ph.D. thesis
at the website of the University.
But, there still be a lot of doubtful points in his career and clinical skills.

So, I want to know about his stay in each university or park:
How long was the stay?
What was the aim of stay ?
He was in an internship, a volunteer, or just a visitor ?

Could you find any people who knows him, or any documents
that proves his stay qualification ?
I guess that his travel might have started in 1999,and must have finished
before 2002.

Of course, this is not our business, but I think his ethical violation must
be corrected.

Any information is welcome.

This person was stricly a visitor who observed here and received no official training or certification from us - he was a veterinarian from another country interested in zoo medicine issues so we allowed him several months to observe various aspects of our practice. He tried many times to obtain some kind of official status and in his wake and exodus he never acknowledged to us that he in fact had no official capacity here and was not involved in any kind of official structured training program that produced a product or warranted some kind of competency. He was simply a visitor that had a lot of time on his hands and apparently money to spend on his stay in the US.

That's basically it.

何かの資格を得ることは考えたが、条件を満たさなかったので無理だった。

そんなことのようですな。

当然、彼の獣医師免許は日本国内でしか通用しませんから、
米国で実際に動物を診療することはできまなかったはずですし、
返信メールにもそのように書いてありますね。
